“…never a dull moment…quick changing moods from laughing to despair, from death to good fortune...”
Kritisches Journal der Alten Musik

Le Tendre Amour brings the story of PURIM to life with the 1998 discovered oratorio by classical composer C.G. Lidarti called ESTHER. (This oratorio is the longest and most richly scored piece of Hebrew art music of the 17th and 18th centuries yet discovered).

Le Tendre Amour presents this fascinating work in an arrangement especially created by the ensemble. Costumes and masks help to tell the story of Esther in an intimate setting. “A Musical Megillat” is a unique musical creation where theatre takes center stage, and all participate in the action.
